Here's one of my early attempts at my 2007 Christmas card. I chose a dinosaur for the simple reason that I like them and don't get to draw them very often. I guess I'm still a little boy at heart. I'm sure the final version will look completely different than this sketch. I want to exaggerate certain features more, make the tree a bit taller and add more detail. It will be a night scene and you'll see the moon casting light on the T-Rex. The lights on the tree will also cast colorful patterns on the T-Rex and snow. I'm confident that it will come out good. I have a "surprise" bit of text for the inside of the card which I won't spoil now. Well, gotta get back to the ol' drawing board...

Christmas Card Sketch

Heh! I love that the "star" is a pterodactyl (and how cool am I, the mother of two girly daughters, that I not only KNOW that the star is a pterodactyl, but that I also know how to SPELL pterodactyl?)
