Here is the latest brochure cover for the Portsmouth Recreation Department. This is the 15th cover I've done for them. Considering that I was trying to meet a deadline while juggling other responsibilities, I think it's a pretty decent illustration. This project reaffirmed that a more cartoony style is where my comfort zone lies. Even though there was a certain amount of stress, I had more fun working on this project than when I'm focused on trying to make things like anatomy and perspective accurate, which is fairly essential when attempting a more realistic approach. Stay tuned for bigger and better examples of the new and improved direction I'm heading towards with my artwork!
